To Our Valued Customers

Thursday, November 18th, 2021

November 18, 2021

As you are aware, Southern British Columbia has been hit with an extreme rainstorm that caused widespread flooding, mudslides, and highway washouts. As a result, all connecting highways and rail lines from the Fraser Valley to the coast have been closed.

These closures have affected our shipment of parts and equipment to our customers in B.C. and the rest of Canada.

Once the flooding has subsided and the highways have reopened, we expect to resume our normal shipping schedules. The timeline on this is still to be determined.

Please read our official press release.

Remembrance Day

Wednesday, November 10th, 2021

Remembrance Day, originally called Armistice Day, continues to be observed on November 11 every year, in Canada and other countries, to honour and remember the men and women who served during times of war and peace.

Image for Remembrance Day shows a row of crosses with poppies

Every year, since 1919, on the eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month, Canadians commemorate the armistice agreement that ended the First World War at 11:00 a.m. on November 11, 1919.

We pause in a moment of silence.

For those who leave never to return. For those who return but are never the same. We remember.

Our office will be closed on Thursday, November 11th, 2021 in observance of Remembrance Day.

Brunette Machinery Congratulates Northern Pellet Limited Partnership

Friday, May 14th, 2021

Brunette Machinery congratulates Northern Pellet Limited Partnership for receiving the Groundbreaker of the Year Award at the 2021 International Biomass Conference & Expo.

We applaud the entire Northern Pellet team for their outstanding award and offer our best wishes for their continued success. Northern Pellet’s well-deserved win recognizes their significant contribution to the bioenergy industry.

We also congratulate the Partnership on the completion and start-up of their pellet production facility in High Level, Alberta. Operations commenced in December 2020 and full-run production is expected this year. This facility is a joint project between Pinnacle Renewable Energy and Tolko Industries with a projected run-rate capacity of 200,000 metric tons per year.

We are proud to have supplied the Brunette BioSizer® for this exciting project. The Brunette BioSizer grinds oversized “bush-grind”, hog fuel, trim blocks, wood chips, and more into a fine uniform product size ideal for the biomass industry. The BioSizer performs the first step in the pelletizing process — the primary size reduction of wood fiber for the manufacture of high-quality wood pellets.
